SUN-DAY

Yesterday, when I woke up for my tutoring job, it was drizzly.  Within five minutes of being outside, it was raining sideways, and I still had a ten minute walk to get to the metro line I needed.  By the time I got to tutoring, I was the Wet Pet Dr. Suess talks about.  The weather today could not have been more different, so I took a break from taking breaks from my presentations in the apartment, and went for a walk.

The street performers were on fire, today.  On the bridge between the Île Saint Louis and the Île de la Cité there was a troupe of roller-bladers.

This guy had a big vase of goldfish swimming around on this his head!  While he juggled!
(and made this face, pretty much the whole time)
 and danced with unsuspecting passers-by
My walking buddy: a big latté to-go (not from a Starbucks)! From a tiny coffee shop on Rue de Mouffetard.  When I say tiny, I mean one man and his Nespresso in a space smaller than my apartment.  I'll be back.
The Parisians have returned to the banks of the Seine
A stuffed raccoon in a shop window (it had nothing to do with what the shop was actually selling)
