KELLY IN PARIS

This weekend, making perhaps the most spontaneous decision of her life, Kelly hopped on a plane and left Venice to come visit!  Very glad she did. We had 48 hours of good restaurants, big churches, and tasty french treats to fuel our walking.  The semi-marathon took place in Paris this Sunday, but I think we covered more ground.

However, while I fully committed to tour guiding (to the extent that by Sunday we were crippled, and had to hobble from Notre Dame, to Café de Flore, to Ladurée), my photo-taking was lacking.  The photos from the Tour d'Eiffel, of me in Montmartre, and those beautiful macarons, have been poached from Kelly's lovely blog.
 This guy was nuts!!
We headed into the Sacre Coeur with sunglasses on.  Within five minutes of coming out, we were
caught in a downpour. This, however, is an essential part of the parisian experience.
Took some time before dinner to roam around Montmartre and visit some of the shops.  The tea shop was nice and colorful, and giving away free samples.  Win, win.
 Tasting the macaron rainbow!
Au revoir!  Come back soon!
